DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: West force is seeking Laundry Attendants. This facility operates 7 days a week thus applicant must have a reliable vehicle and must be flexible on work schedule. Persons will be asked to perform either or both of the following positions depending on abilities or company needs.

SOIL PRODUCTION:

• Sorts soiled linen from conveyor system by type, size, color, or special instructions as directed.
• Meets production levels required
• Assures linen is sorted into appropriate soil carts.
• Discards foreign objects into the appropriate container as required.
• Opens and empties soiled linen bags onto inclined conveyor.
• Pushes empty carts away for cleaning.
• Maintains clean work area by assisting or performing clean up duties as required.
• May perform other duties as instructed or required.
• Must be a team player
• Wear prescribed protective apparel and use appropriate safe handling techniques for exposure avoidance and general safety.
